Downloading covers locally

Download covers into your vault to keep them available offline. A local copy also stays available if the original image URL stops working.

Quick Capture tries to download the cover when it creates an entity. You can also apply a cover while matching an existing entity.

Download several covers

After an import, open Download remote covers on the Review page. Choose one type or the whole library. The downloader finds image fields with online URLs and saves local copies.

If a cover is missing entirely, match the entity to a provider or add an image first.

The image fields then point to files in your vault's assets folder. Include that folder when you sync or back up your library.
